[Intro]

Under the bright Calgary sun, the moment’s finally here,

With the scent of the earth and the roar of the cheers.

Grabbing the bull rope, my adrenaline starts to blaze,

It’s my first time at Stampede, caught in a rodeo daze.

From the chutes to the dirt, a ride of a thousand lifetimes,

The crowd chanting “Rector!” as the bull bell chimes.

[Verse 1]

In the back of the chutes, the bulls start to snort,

Each one’s a warrior, in this thrilling sport.

I glance at my draw, it’s a beast named “Backlash,”

A heart full of courage, with a hope that’s steadfast.

With my grip on the bull rope, I breathe deep and focus,

As the gate swings wide, the crowd’s cries can provoke us.

Eight seconds of chaos, where legends are born,

With every buck and spin, it’s my spirit that’s worn.

[Chorus]

Hold on tight, let the ride unfold,

With grit in my heart, and a story to be told.

Under the Calgary skies, where the wild hearts dare,

I’m a bull rider at dawn, chasing dreams in the air.

Through the mud and the grit, I’ll stand proud and tall,

With each ride forward, I rise from the fall.

[Verse 2]

The dirt flies behind me, hooves pounding like thunder,

My body’s a symphony, caught in the wonder.

I hear the judges’ clicks as I chase that sweet score,

Every second matters, craving the crowd’s roar.

A rough cowboy’s life is a testament of grit,

With busted-up bodies, each bruise is a gift.

The highs and the lows, they’re all part of the game,

In the heart of the rodeo, it’s a bittersweet flame.

[Verse 3]

The finals come closer, the tension is thick,

Riding for glory, every move is a trick.

With each nod to the chute, my heart pounds like a drum,

Every ride’s a frontier; every bull makes me numb.

Then comes the rush, I cling through the fight,

As the crowd roars out Rector, it ignites every light.

For in this arena, surrounded by friends,

Life’s the wildest journey, where true passion transcends.

[Outro]

As the dust settles down, in the twilight glow,

I’ll treasure this moment, under the stars’ soft flow.

With memories of Calgary, riding into the night,

I’m a bull rider forever, soaring to new heights.

In the heart of the rodeo, my spirit runs free,

In this life of adventure, I’ve found the real me.
