Our love is young,
It’s just begun,
So full of life,
And on the run.
Lay your head,
Upon my chest,
Listen softly,
As I rest.
A life ahead,
lived as two.
You with me,
and me with you.
Wrapping arms,
’round one another.
lovers stuck,
tight to each other
Beating hearts,
so strong and stout,
Our profiles saying,
“Our Love’s Sold Out!”
Weak apart,
but strong together,
we shall survive,
all stormy weather.
Naysayers claim,
we will not last.
They judge me fairly,
by my past.
But they fail,
to understand.
I was a boy,
You made me a man.
Two hearts beating,
and synced as one.
No longer grieving,
or on the run.
Beating hearts,
so strong and stout,
Our profiles saying,
“Our Love’s Sold Out!”
We’ve been told,
we can’t live on love.
but our only judge,
is God above.
I don’t care what,
jealous people say.
My life with you,
will always stay.
Wondering eyes,
now gone forever.
All stormy seas,
We sail together.
Pull me close,
hold me night.
Stay with me,
another night.
Beating hearts,
so strong and stout,
Our profiles saying,
“Our Love’s Sold Out!”
Tomorrow the sun,
will lead us west.
Our future is sealed,
There’s nothing to test.
Who cares what they say,
our love makes sense.
Burning vibes,
so real and intense.
We both sense,
and we both know.
Our life is like,
a picture show.
A life with you,
Makes so much sense.
A white hot love,
That burns intense.
Beating hearts,
so strong and stout,
Our profiles saying,
“Our Love’s Sold Out!”
