Stolen Socks

[Verse 1]

One sock in the dryer vanished again

Where do they go is it a portal or a den

A thief in the night or just bad luck

I’m stuck with one foot cold what the heck

[Chorus]

Stolen socks where do you hide

Are you dancing with lint on the other side

Stolen socks why leave me behind

I’m limping through life one toe at a time

[Verse 2]

Laundry room mysteries a dark abyss

Pairs torn apart it’s a love I miss

Maybe they’re building a secret stash

Or off in the wind with a sock-shaped dash

[Bridge]

Are you in the jungle are you in the sea

Are you on a sock farm living carefree

Maybe on a mission in a cosmic race

Or plotting rebellion from a secret place

[Verse 3]

Where did you go

My little cotton friend

Lost in the spin

This can’t be the end

Are you stuck in the vent

Or caught in the gears

Your partner’s alone

Shedding fabric tears

[Chorus]

Stolen socks where do you hide

Are you dancing with lint on the other side

Stolen socks why leave me behind

I’m limping through life one toe at a time
