If Animals Could Sing

Chorus

Belly flop into the moonlight glow,
Bananas dance where the penguins go,
Slap that toast with a taco shoe,
The sky just yelled, “I’m watching you!”

Verse 1

Pickles hum in the parking lot,
Frogs wear ties when the tea gets hot,
Donkeys sneeze on a Tuesday noon,
I met a spoon that can croon in tune.

Verse 2

Turtles juggle little cubes of air,
Bubblegum clouds in a grizzly bear’s lair,
A mailbox yells at a passing kite,
While socks hold meetings in the dead of night.

Verse 3

Banjo cats in a marching band,
Pineapple hats in a marshmallow land,
Chickens vote for a peanut king,
While noodles waltz in a jelly ring.

Chorus
Belly flop into the moonlight glow,
Bananas dance where the penguins go,
Slap that toast with a taco shoe,
The sky just yelled, “I’m watching you!”

Verse 4

Hamsters ride on a licorice train,
Soapbox frogs do a dance in the rain,
A goldfish yells, “I’m a billionaire!”
Then floats away on a rocking chair.

Verse 5

Space giraffes play accordion blues,
Ostriches tap in banana shoes,
Cheese wheels roll down the candy hill,
Shouting, “Life’s short—so eat your fill!”

Verse 6

Marshmallow kings with a rubber crown,
Upside-down towns where the rain falls brown,
A snail sells maps to the Milky Way,
And whispers, “Run, ‘cause the ducks won’t pay!”

Chorus
Belly flop into the moonlight glow,
Bananas dance where the penguins go,
Slap that toast with a taco shoe,
The sky just yelled, “I’m watching you!”

Verse 7

Velcro bees buzz on rainbow toast,
A walrus brags, “I’m the jelly ghost,”
Spaghetti swings from a chandelier,
While pancakes clap just to cheer the deer.

Verse 8

Hotdogs hum to a disco beat,
A squirrel wears ties on all four feet,
A fridge tells jokes to a loaf of bread,
And the bread laughs so hard that it falls off the bed.

Verse 9

Crayon sharks in a cotton sea,
A couch flies past yelling, “Follow me!”
Clocks eat soup while they dance in line,
And the moon takes selfies with a porcupine.

Chorus
Belly flop into the moonlight glow,
Bananas dance where the penguins go,
Slap that toast with a taco shoe,
The sky just yelled, “I’m watching you!”
