America, We Have Faith in You

[refrain] [military choir]

We honor the red, the white and the blue,

America, we have faith in you.

[powerful male and military choir vocals]

Verse 1

The sun comes up on a brand-new day,

Children laugh as they run and play.

Work begins with the morning light,

New dreams begin as birds take flight.

Verse 2

At farms and businesses, both old and new,

At schools and courthouses where work is true.

Old Glory rises high in the morning sky,

Our symbol of hope that will never die.

Chorus

From rivers long to mountains high,

Every chapel bell cries out under the sky,

Lift your voices as our forefathers knew,

America, we have faith in you.

Verse 3

Crops are growing in the morning sun’s glow,

While our nation’s activity is beginning to show.

Different voices, but the truth rings clear,

We find our strength when we draw near.

Verse 4

We honor all souls who cleared the way,

And gave us the freedom we have today.

A freedom bought by their toil and pain,

Let’s never forget them, let’s honor each name.

Chorus

From rivers long to mountains high,

Every chapel bell cries out under the sky,

Lift your voices as our forefathers knew,

America, we have faith in you.

Verse 5

On Main Street corners the children play,

As parades march by on a patriotic day.

Neighbors gather with hands held high,

A promise of freedom that will not die.

Verse 6

We don’t agree on every view,

But freedom gives that right to you.

Still side by side, through storm or strife,

Together we shape a nation’s life.

Chorus

From rivers long to mountains high,

Every chapel bell cries out under the sky,

Lift your voices as our forefathers knew,

America, we have faith in you.

Verse 7

From ocean waves to mountain rains,

To desert winds and rolling plains.

One people strong, though our voices vary,

Bound by the dream that we all carry.

Verse 8

Lady Liberty, we will feed your life,

And keep your torch burning ever bright.

To my children’s children, keep this vow true—

Because America’s hope forever lies in you.

[Final Chorus]

[full military choir vocals] [intensive climax] [horns, strings, guitars, drums]

From rivers long to mountains high,

Every chapel bell cries out under the sky,

Lift your voices as our forefathers knew,

America, we have faith in you.

Outro

We honor the red, the white and the blue,

America, we have faith in you.
