A Sailor’s Heart

[Verse 1]

Drills at dawn no time to dream
Voices echo sharp and mean
The sea will test what he has seen
But he’s no longer seventeen

[Verse 2]

Boots on the deck and a bag on his back
The sea in his eyes as the world fades to black
He’s learned to march
He’s learned to shout
Now the storm in his heart is breaking out

[Prechorus]

They told himfear is just a wave to surf,
Ride it high sailor, the sea’s your new turf.

[Chorus]

Anchors away
The shore’s a ghost
The horizon calls where it matters most
With a sailor’s heart and a steady hand
He’s a drop in the ocean but he’s ready to stand

[Verse 3]

The nights were cold and the drills were fire
Sweat and grit built his empire
He learned the stars
He learned the ropes
Turned fear to steel and dreams to hope

[Bridge]

The bell rings loud
It echoes wide
A call to the brave
A test of pride
Salt in his veins
Wind in his lungs
A story of courage yet unsung

[Chorus]

Anchors away
The shore’s a ghost
The horizon calls where it matters most
With a sailor’s heart and a steady hand
He’s a drop in the ocean but he’s re to stand

[Verse 4]

Shouts in the night
The echo’s clear
Fears dissolve
No room for tears
The sea calls out
“You’re needed here”

[Prechorus]

They told him fear is just a wave to surf,
Ride it high sailor, the sea’s your new turf.

[Chorus]

Anchors away
The shore’s a ghost
The horizon calls where it matters most
With a sailor’s heart and a steady hand
He’s a drop in the ocean but he’s ready to stand
